Post Match Analysis:
It was a boring game of football for a person (who is not a fan of both teams) to see one team dominating the game and couldn´t score and other team was defending perfectly.
Manchester United had approximately 70 percent possession in overall game. But Crystal Palace had decided not to give room to Man United to score.
As far as controlling the game, possession, pressing and in other technical areas United were good.
Hojlund made a comeback after injury, a good sign for United. Zirkzee should have scored that header. A clinical finishing is missing from his side.
Garnacho got few good chances but they hit the post. Same with Bruno. HITTING WOODWORK TWICE WAS BAD LUCK. Eriksen was playing perfect 10 and complementing the Bruno. Captain Bruno´s performance could have been better and he should have been substituted. A tough call though. All defenders were good. But sometimes Martinez was taking time to pass the ball.
Weakest thing in Man Utd side currently is that when they have to defend in counter-attack they give a lot of space to opponent and any good striker or player can score a goal. Hence, midfield and defence have to play together and mark all players.
Man United couldn´t create many chances in front of the goal. Rasmus Hojlund´s comeback is big positive. Rasmus and Zirkzee need to prove their worth in coming matches.
For Crystal Palace, it was brilliant game defensively. They could defend well and stop Amad time to time. . Eze should´ve scored but he was brilliant in a game.
Dean Henderson gave an excellent performance as goalkeeper. If not for Henderson it would have been a different story. He literally frustrated the Utd.
Crystal Palace got few chances but they couldn´t get the ball over the line. If we consider attacking and controlling the game, they were very poor.
